Our Staff
Grace Sutherland Smith, LMSW
Executive Director
Grace serves as Executive Director for AgeWell, working with our board, staff, and community partners to develop collaborative solutions for unmet needs, and providing strategic direction and advocacy leadership.
She has dedicated her career to serving older adults, family caregivers, and professionals, working in a variety of settings at the federal, state, and local levels.
She is passionate about aging well and enjoys exercise, hiking, movies, and time with her parents, sisters, husband, and two adult children.

Paula Daigle, MS
Community Engagement Director
Paula is a 15-year champion for positive aging and a community educator for AgeWell Middle Tennessee. She is the community liaison to area agencies & groups working to include older adults in all aspects of our community.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids and includes seeing the Northern Lights on her bucket list.

Michele Harrell
Development Director
Michele has a 20-year career in fundraising and marketing. She has worked with AgeWell to develop and grow the development program since 2012.
Michele loves spending her free time outdoors with her husband, two children, and two Boston Terriers.

Tiffany Cloud-Mann, M.Ed
Eldercare Coach & Community Partnerships Manager
Tiffany has over 15 years of experience working in the human services field. She spent 12 years of her time working specifically with caregivers and those journeying through Alzheimer's/dementia. Tiffany manages AgeWell's Eldercare Coach program, offering caregiver education and support by partnering with employers and faith communities. She also coordinates sponsors for the Directory of Services.
In her free time, Tiffany enjoys being outdoors, exercising, and spending time with her husband, two boys, and her dog Louie (who has worked as an emotional support dog for her clients).

Jennifer Abernathy, MSW
Grants & Operations
Manager
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience with nonprofit organizations in Tennessee and Michigan. Serving in different capacities over the years, including direct service, grant writing, organizational management, and board leadership, gives her a unique perspective on operations and program outcomes.
When not spending time with her five grandchildren, Jennifer loves going to concerts and swimming.

Rochelle Cardenas
Content & Technology Manager
Since 2015, Rochelle has applied her hospitality and management background to oversee AgeWell's administrative responsibilities, office communications, social media content and technical support. She also provides essential planning and logistical support for AgeWell's annual Sage Awards fundraising event.
She and her husband have two active boys and when she has the time, she loves reading, crosswords, and board games.

Renee Hampton
Secure Aging Collaborative Manager
Renee has spent her career working in corporate and nonprofit leadership. All of her experience has been laced with the threads of servanthood. She is helping AgeWell launch a financial empowerment collaborative for older adults with personalized financial counseling, benefit enrollment assistance and referrals to supplemental income opportunities.
She enjoys all types of dance, including ballet and ballroom. But, her greatest joy is traveling and spending time with friends and family, including her adult children and grandchildren.

Allyson Carroll
Front Office & Helpline Coordinator
Allyson grew up in Nashville and has lived in Sylvan Park for over 20 years. Her daughter also lives in Nashville. "Ally" lived in Maryland from 1977 - 1997, and has a son who still lives in DC. Her background at Tennessee Housing Development Agency in Community Programs serves her well as AgeWell's HelpLine Coordinator.
Her hobbies include saving the bees (or anything else that breathes), tending to her yard, refilling the bird feeders umpteen times a week, and working nights as an usher at the beautiful Ryman Auditorium.
