Aging & Caring: A Guide for Families and Caregivers is now online!

Aging & Caring: A Guide for Families and Caregivers is designed to assist those caring for an older adult. Caregivers can include spouses, adult children, family members, neighbors and friends. This guide provides the framework for helping caregivers understand a variety of issues while planning for and with an older adult. Our hope is that you’ll find this information useful as you navigate the caregiving journey.

As a unique nonprofit charged with identifying and addressing the unmet needs of older adults and their families, the Council on Aging of Middle Tennessee (COA) has embarked on a journey to understand the impact of eldercare on employers and the needs of working caregivers. Our Case for Caregiving Findings in Brief report details key findings from local and national research that highlight the need for employers to support employees caring for an aging loved one, along with COA resources to support working caregivers.
